Time Saver Breakfast


Okay, this is my all time favourite breakfast! Hope you love it as much as we do!



16 slices of bread (crusts cut off)
crumbled bacon or diced ham
1 – 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
6 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 – 1 tsp dry mustard
1/4 c. minced onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1-2 tsp worcestshire sauce
3 cups milk
dash of tobasco sauce
crushed corn flakes or crackers


Lay 8 slices in a 13 x 9 pan
Cover bread with a layer of bacon (or ham), cheese and remaining bread.
Beat eggs, salt, pepper, dry mustard, ionion ,peppers, worcestshire sauce, tobasco sauce and milk together.
Pour over to cover bread evenly.
Cover and refridgerate over night.
In the morning melt 1/4 to 1/2 c. of butter and pour evenly over the top.
Sprinkle the crushed cornflakes (or crackers) in a thin, even later across the top.
Bake on 350 for 1 hour. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.
