One Pan No Fuss Layer Bars

If you’re not one who enjoys the mess of baking, or you just don’t have a lot of time, this is for you. This is made in one…yes ONE dish for the most part. And it’s delicious to boot.

One Pan layer squares

You probably have all of these in your cupboard!

Ingredients:

1 & 1/2 c. butter

3 c. Graham wafer crumbs

1 pkg (700g) flaked coconut

2 cans Eagle Brand condensed milk

1 pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 c smooth peanut butter

Directions:

Preaheat oven to 350 (325 if using a glass dish)

In a 13 x 9 inch pan, melt the butter in the oven.

Remove melted butter from oven and sprinkle the graham wafer crumbs evenly over the bottom of the pan.

Next spread the coconut evenly over the wafer crumbs and then top evenly with Eagle Brand.

Bake for 25 minutes (or until it is lightly browned)

In sauce pan, about 4 minutes before it’s ready to come out of the oven, combine chocolate chips and peanut butter and melt together.

Remove the pan from the oven when cooked and then evenly spread the chocolate/peanut butter mixture over the top.

Let cool until chocolate/peanut butter layer hardens. Cut and enjoy!

Makes 24 – 36 squares depending on how large you cut them.
